Formed 1895 to make furniture. Turned attention to aircraft components in 1939. During Second World War subcontracted for many types, including Airspeed Oxford, Supermarine Spitfire, and de Havilland Mosquito. In August 1947 flew Eon light four-seat low-wing monoplane, later altered to reengined Eon 2. Also made gliders (Eon, Olympia etc.). Eon T.16/48 was side-by-side trainer project by Elliotts and Aviation & Engineering Projects Ltd.
