As an FAA A&P mechanic I worked on MS760 Paris II with Youngstown Airways/Beckett Aviation in Youngstown, Ohio. It was owned by Henry and Louise Timkin. Akron Rolling Bearing Company in Akron, Ohio. We installed all new avionics in advance of a presidential election run by Barry Goldwater across the USA. Plus changed to higher thrust engines. My name is likely in the logs if still airworthy. This was the first business jet in USA in early 60's.

How do you get in touch with jack bart re.to the paris jet for sale?

jack bart, e-mail, 10.08.2010 19:21

Yes the 760 is a great airplane and I have 2 of them with lots of parts. One aircraft is for sale along with parts also and the other is my personal aircraft. very fast easy to fly but it does burn around 120 gallons an hour. I will sell parts to anyone that needs them to keep these great planes flying. Jack Bart

Dear Sirs:
Yes, I do have a comment for you. The MS-760 in its basic jet trainer & laison version was built in my own city und-er license in the sixties. It served the Argentine Air For-ce for more than 40 years and today only a few of them rem-ain active. I flew the MS-760 mostly as a passenger but al-so had some chances to pilot it for short periods. The air-plane flies fantastically well. The only problem is its so
thirsty and somehow noisy engines. In other aspects, it's responsive and in some fast maneuvers, it can pull several G's yet it's very docile to handle. I wish it can inspire some VLJ's today and in the near future.
All the best,
Chuck
P/S: please, stay in contact - thank you for this chance.
