Hello Michael,
Australia operated 34 examples of the Avro 643 Cadet which were used as lead-in trainers for the Hawker Demon and I got to fly one in 1995-97 - A6-25 VH-PRU. She is now with Kermit Weeks at his Fantasy of Flight museum at Kissimee, Florida. If there was a U.K. association/club whathaveyou dedicated to Avro biplanes, I'd be happy to send you my "from the cockpit" flight report plus a range of action photos.
Regards,
Ben Dannecker, PO Box 1478, NOWRA NSW 2541 Australia
