Barry, 08.06.2016 16:10 Nicknamed the "Lottery Destroyer" this single seat fighter was first flown in 1917 and was the first aircraft to be produced at the Sodertelge workshops of indigenous design. Six planes were built along with a single reconnaissance model, the SW 16, and the aircraft was powered by a Vabis copy of the six cylinder liquid cooled Mercedes D1. The armament comprised of twin, locally produced, copy's of the German Schwarz Lose machine gun. The planes remained in service until 1921. reply |
