Yakovlev Yak-1000

Only a single Yak-1000 was built. The design speed is reported to have been 1750km/h. If the engine had an afterburner it was expected Mach 1.88 would have been attained. In fact, taxi tests in 1951 showed such dangerous instability that flight testing was not attempted.
