| Barry, 05.09.2016 17:49 At the request of the Regia Marina ( Royal Italian Navy) the M.26 was designed in competition with the SIAI S. 58 as a replacement for the Macchi M.7 ter. Although two models were completed the Italian Navy decided to re-engine the S.7's and so no orders were placed. However, the M.26 did form the basis for the later M.41. reply |
