The Czechoslovakian Air Force bought 105 machines, and 10 examples were produced for Lithuania under the designation Š-20L. These remained in service until 1936 and 1935 respectively.
However fast, these aircrafts were not well suited for acrobacy and thus not very popular. Pilots prefered another standart fighter of CZs air force Avia BH-21 which has been produced in greater numbers and exported (later licensed built) in Belgium (factories SABCA and SEGA).
