Hi,

Trawling through uncatalogued items in my father's archive, now at Brooklands, I've come across 4 negatives of Short No1 Biplanes, two with tails (one on the ground and one airborne) and two without tails on the ground - all with someone at the controls. Contact me if you'd like further details.

Does anyone know if the airframe / engine survive anywhere?

I own the property where JTC Moore Brabazon flew, which made him the first resident Englishman to make an officially recognized aeroplane flight in England at Leysdown in 1909 and was also award 1,000 by the Daily Mail for completing a circular flight of 1 mile. For more information please visit my website which is www.muswellmanor.co.uk
