Thank you in advance.
Scott Boyd, e-mail, 18.04.2015 04:09 An old King Air, C-425 or Cheyenne would make a lot more sense to me. Much more dependable engines, you don't change oil every 100 hours, much better performance and single engine capability.
Turbine engines basically work like any engine, starting is flipping a couple of switches rather then juggling throttles and mixtures.
Anil Kumar, e-mail, 17.04.2015 13:16 I wanted to know about actuator specs (like speed i.e delt_dot of actuates and sensore noise characterstics.
Thank you Anil Kumar DRDO

Clyde, e-mail, 05.01.2015 04:40 Gentlemen, have been looking at pressurized twins for some time. Very well versed in piston twins but never any pressurized ones, just turbines and jets. Looking for one and came across the 700. Geared engines are a drawback so direct drive is preferable. Be flying from the Reno area West to Northern California and East to Denver, 4 to 6 people (little more than the FAA average) would be the norm. Am I looking at the wrong airplane? Thank you...
Scott Boyd, e-mail, 12.09.2014 02:49 It would be a very nice plane, with turbine engines. The engines are a pain and gas is expensive and more and more rare.
Maurice, e-mail, 11.09.2014 21:06 I'm interested in acquiring a Commander 700. Roger Battistoni, I would appreciate hearing the good and bad on the 700. Any pilot with experience on the aircraft can respond. What is the operating cost per hour in US dollars? Any problems with engines? Performance? Interior noise issues? Any other pertinent information would be appreciated.

Roy Arnold, e-mail, 09.05.2014 16:42 I'm considering a 700 for my charter business for short leg [150nm or less] missions. Can I get some feedback on reliability and on sound levels in the passenger compartment; other factors I should consider?

Roger Battistoni, e-mail, 03.01.2011 18:32 I am the highest time 700 pilot in the US. I am also the former owner of serial number 13 until we moved up to King Air C90. If anyone has questions about this aircraft, please feel free to email me or call me. I have purchased this airplanes for a lot of customers both in the US and around the world. I know where most of the parts are in the US as well as the large stash of part in Canada.

Ernie Robinson, e-mail, 18.11.2010 05:22 I worked for Rockwell back in the 70's and 80's. I installed the engines on all of the Fuji 700's produced at the Bethany Oklahoma plant. Glad to see these aircraft are still around. If anyone has photos they could pass along I would really enjoy seeing them. You can't imagine the feeling of watching the first fight of an aircraft and knowing you had a hand in buiding that craft.

Mike Hoyle, e-mail, 23.10.2009 06:39 Just purchased a 700 and it is completing an annual. Looking forward to fly. Definately the most bang for the buck and it's a unique piece.
Matt, e-mail, 29.07.2009 17:08 Buy and Excalibur 800 Queen Air and you will be happier. The speed, fuel burn, range, size, maintainance, and parts availability is much better. You also do not have the underpowered turbo charged engines to deal with.

Brian, e-mail, 31.03.2009 17:05 I have a customer considering buying a 700 who and where can parts be obtained.
Pierre-Andre Manseau, e-mail, 18.01.2009 15:09 I own a 1978 Commander 700 with 9000 TT on it. The performance are great if you consider that they are piston engines in a Turbine size plane. Even the Golden eagle 421 is smaller. It's also certified to climb 200ft/min on one engine full load that is 6947lbs and there are no critical engine like most of the twins. On normal operation I get between 900-1100ft/min. With almost the same specifications of the Golden Eagle 421 but with a bigger cabin. Yes it fly's may be 20kts less than the 421 but it cost half the price to own and maintain. It's also Know Ice certified and fly's like a charm in icing conditions. The autopilot with FD will bring you 200ft over the runway in the worst weather conditions. The fact that the plane is big and use piston only the take-off should be manage differently. You need to let the plane take speed before you climb to ease the engines at 37" manifold instead of 44". But if you need it's also certified to climb at max power all the way to 16,000ft then you can go up to 21,000ft. It's certified to 25,000ft but it's costly to bring it there. Well it's a great airplane for the money.
captbilly, e-mail, 02.12.2008 00:03 Main problem with the plane is that it is a bit under powered. The 710 was gojng to be essentially the same plane with 450hp engines instead of the 340 Hp lycomings. Single engine performance is not good at all, even worse than typical piston twins. The cabin is great, about the same size as a King Air 90. I also believe there is an issue with total time on the airframe. Since the manufacturer has never bothered to update the certification the airframe is theoretically worn out at 10,000 hours. I suspect you could still use it for personal transportation after 10,000 hrs. but it would no longer be legal for part 135.
Thomas Lindemeyer, e-mail, 12.10.2008 15:20 Gus: If you can find any additional information regarding this airplane, parts availability, etc., please share as I am looking at the possible purchase of a 700, but need to be sure we can keep in operations. Thanks. Thomas
Gus Izurieta, e-mail, 29.10.2007 04:29 parts and components still easily. I am doing a good thing looking at possibly buying a 700? I would appreciate speaking with someone who may know well this airplane, pilot, owner, AP Thanks. Gus
