Daimler Benz had massive problems getting their high altitude engine ready. The JuMo 222 had the same problem. So the whole project was cancelled. Like many others.

It was the Henschel Hs 129 which was desigend as a "Schlachtflieger" and was equipped with sevearl anti tank weapons! You could say, it was the Grandpa of the A -10. Peter from Germany
