Finished in 1980, I logged about 200 hrs in this, and then sold to my partner. Still flying in CA under U.S. registration N638.

Johan Runfeldt, 25.03.2010 09:25 77 served with the Royal Swedish Air Force from 1936 as primary trainers. 28 were built by Focke-Wulf, the balance in Sweden, 10 at ASJA, 10 at SAAB and 29 at CVV(Airforce Workshops at Västerås). They were superseded in the training role towards the end of WW2 by Klemm KL35 and Bücker Bü181, being dispersed throughout the RSwAF as liason aircraft. Later they were handed over to civilian aeroclubs and used largely for aerotowing gliders. This heavy use means that there are very few left today, I don't know of any airworthy in Sweden.

Barry, 12.01.2010 15:24 As noted this aircraft was powered by the Siemens Sh14A, except for the 'C' and 'E' models which were powered by the Argus 8B engine. The performance and specification of all models were very similar.
