The AIR 10 was developed into the UT-2 becoming the standard fighter trainer for the soviets in WW II with some 7,243 built between 1937 and 1946. Not a particularly good plane to fly, however it was used by not only the Russians, but also the air forces of Hungary, Poland, Mongolia,Romania,Yugoslavia and one unit of the French Normandy Neimen unit.
