"...the E16A was equiped as dive bomber." In fact, the wide, slotted fairings, visible on the forward float struts, were actually retractable dive brakes. They were a design feature unique to this particular aircraft.

The E16A Zuiun is a variant of the E13A Jake.But the only diference on the 2 is what the E16A was equiped as dive bomber.Unfotunately was entered in service in the moment of the allies was obtained the AS E16A was highly killed by the Hellcats and in 1945 was used in Okinawa as tokkotai
