Barry, 23.05.2016 15:30 LFU or Leichflugtechnik-Union was a consortium made up of Bolkow, Putzer and Rhein-Flugzeugbau to build an aircraft entirely of GRP glass reinforced plastic. The one and only LFU 205 first flew on 29th March 1968 and was subsequently used for studying laminar flow.
