AEG G.I

AEG G.I to G.V was a series of twin-engined biplane bombers that appeared between 1915 and 1918. The engine power, overall dimensions and bomb-carrying capacity increased with each new version. Initial version was the three-seat K.I (later redesignated G.I) powered by 74.5kW Mercedes D.I engines. The G.I had a crew of two, consisting of the pilot and the rear gunner. Performance was poor and so led to the development of the G.II.
