Barry, 13.05.2016 16:28 The initial designs for this two seater, by the team led by Lucien Servanty, were done in secret starting during the Nazi occupation in 1943. The original concept was to use the French designed Rateau-Anxionnaz GTS-65 jet engine (me neither!), but because of design delays a Junker Jumo 004 B2 was fitted instead, and the first flight was made 11th November 1946. One static and three further flying airframes were built all using Rolls Royce Nene turbo jets developing 4,850 lb of thrust. The project was eventually abandoned and no more testing took place.
