White & Thompson Bognor Bloater

The Bognor Bloater tractor biplane is believed to have been the first aircraft in production with a monocoque fuselage. Twelve were built for RNAS, but only 10 were delivered.

Built in competition to the BE2 the fist monocoque constructed plane in British service. It was designated NT3
Engine 1 x Renault water cooled 70 h.p.
Span 37' Length 28'3" Height 12'
