Miles M.8 Peregrine

The M.8 Peregrine of 1936 was Miles' first twin-engined aircraft, with 153kW de Havilland Gipsy Queen engines and seats for six passengers plus two crew. Although its performance was good, manufacture could not be undertaken because the company was then busy with Magister production, and only one more Peregrine, with 216kW Menasco Buccaneer engines, was built as a flying laboratory for the RAE.
