I have two photos of this aircraft, unfortunately without any notes attached. They seem to be at the same venue. My uncle, Evelyn Marais, was a trainee pilot at the end of WWII. These were found amongst his belongings recently. Can anyone tell me more about this aircraft?

The picture is the Semiquaver fuselage, but with the later Alula experimental wing. The Martinsyde Semuquaver was a biplane.
