The Bluebird was a successful light plane that was built in considerable numbers for a number of years, from the mid '20s to the late '30s. Unfortunately, it had the misfortune to be overshadowed by the even-more successful De Havilland Moths. The Bluebird was unusual for it's day in featuring the advantage of side-by-seating for it's two occupants.
